1 - Application to play in the Winchester & District League next season
The closure date for applications is 1st May 2003. A home pitch must be found ASAP. Sean will contact Kings School, Henry Beaufort, Winchester College and Westgate in person on Wednesday and report back to the committee.
2 - Re-application to the Southampton Commercial Houses League
Sean will contact the Secretary and advise of possible late application for this league.
3 - Arrangements for next season
- Sean will put postcard ads for referees in local newsagent's shops
- Jez will draw up a team rota of fall-back referees for each game from regular team members
- Away kit to be purchased if possible (from Dicko?)
- Jez to liaise with his brother over possible sponsorship of the team
- Al to ask his Dad to design a simple logo for the team
4 - Annual Presentation Gala, 24th May @ the King Alfred
- Dress is formal for males (smart suits, ties and shirts).
- Partners to be invited and tickets are £12 per person.
- Al will organise 2/3 poster photos of the team, a PA system and a scroll for all players.
- Will to design invitation cards, purchase of trophies and organise ballot for awards.
- Sean will organise catering arrangements, décor in the King Alfred and the acquisition of a mortar board. He will also sponsor the Player Of The Season trophy.
- Rob and Jeremy will compere the evening's events.
- Jeremy will decide on the Manager's Award (with the aid of the Committee, if required).
