1 - First Aid courses
Alex Purkiss, Dave Hughes, Jeremy Carter and Sean Cameron to attend. Sean will enquire about doing this all together.
2 - Kit
- We are currently missing some shorts and socks from the kit bag. Jeremy will buy a pair of socks, and Nick will contact the kit suppliers for replacements.
- Regarding tracksuit bottoms, no action is planned for the near future.
- Alex will ask his Dad about designing a logo to appear on the Jossy's strip.
- We may require an away strip for the forthcoming game against Eddies. Sean will communicate with Eddies' Secretary on this matter.
3 - Finances
- Jossys are in the black, although subscription fees still need to be collected from a couple of players. Nick will collect these fees.
- Fines imposed upon Tim Coleman & Simon Howes have been paid.
4 - Photos on the website
Will to scan pictures from the mid-season social at the Ghurkha Chef, and publish on website. An up-to-date team photo is planned for Sunday 6th March (Will to arrange a camera).
5 - Communication
- Communication from players is now much better. Jeremy is happy!
- The email list needs to be updated. People who are no longer involved with Jossys are still being emailed about matches. Will to trim the list.
6 - Presentation Evening
- A number of venues were discussed.
- Partners are to be invited.
- Dress code will be smart (suits/dresses).
- Formal invitations will be made.
- Awards to include Player Of The Season, Golden Boot, Most Improved Player etc.
- Rob & Hughesy will investigate possible venues.
7 - Winchester League
The Committee voted to join Winchester League for the 2003/04 season based on overall Jossys agreement. If this goes ahead we will need a home ground. Will, Rob and Hughesy will enquire about the availability of the following pitches:- Winchester College, Littleton, River Park, Garrison Ground, Peter Symonds, Kings, Henry Beaufort and Alresford.
8 - Training
A weekly training session will be arranged for the summer evenings, probably at River Park. Rob will organise this.
