Committee meeting - Sunday 18th Aug 2002



1 - Committee appointments

  • Jeremy - Secretary (temporarily until 8th Septmeber) and Team Manager
  • Robert - Club Captain
  • Nick/Will - Treasurers
Robert will ask Sean about the possibility of him becoming our permanent secretary.


2 - Squad/recruitment

We now have the basis of a team for the opening game of the season on 8th Septempber. Will and Robert are to finish off player recruitment and liaise with Jeremy by of Wednesday 21st August.


3 - League business

Players are currently being registered as they are recruited. Jeremy will liaise with the league over registration of players, and find out about Public Liability Insurance.


4 - Kit/equipment

  • Nick to research the cost and lead times of kits.
  • Alex to find out the cost of two match balls and two practice balls.
  • Alex to ask his Dad about shirt printing.

5 - Finances

Will to find out what is required in order to set up a Bank Account for the club, and to collect the relevant forms. Signatories for the account are yet to be decided (probably Nick and Will).


6 - Fist aid courses

Robert will find out about the availability of first aid courses in the area, and decide who will attend these.
